3PL and warehouse operators: Stock and dispatch visibility for 3PL and warehouse operators in the UAE

Warehouse space in Dubai Industrial City, Jebel Ali and Abu Dhabi’s KEZAD serves many clients under one roof, and each wants live numbers. Nobody can say with confidence what is on the shelf, what is booked for dispatch and what can be billed to which client. Brandsmashers Tech is a Bhopal-based software team that builds custom systems fast with AI-assisted development, working with UAE businesses remotely.

Who this is for

This is for third-party logistics and warehouse operators in Dubai Industrial City, Jebel Ali or KEZAD who store goods for many clients under one roof. Clients want live numbers, and you can only send yesterday's sheet. Inward deliveries are logged on paper at the dock and keyed in later. A dispatch order arrives by email and is picked from memory. When billing is due, storage and handling charges are rebuilt by hand for each client, and every contract seems to count pallets, orders or days differently.

Where the daily friction sits

Nobody can say with confidence what is on the shelf, what is booked for dispatch and what can be billed to which client. Most teams cover this with experience, which works until the one person who holds it all in their head is away. Spreadsheets and chat groups help, yet nothing is enforced or reconciled, and the owner finds out late.

What we build

A warehouse-lite system covering inward, stock, dispatch and billing. Goods received are logged against the client, stock is visible by location, dispatch orders reduce it, and storage and handling charges flow into billing. It is deliberately lighter than an enterprise WMS, built for operators who need control without a long rollout. Every 3PL bills differently, per pallet, per order or per day, so we build custom to match your client contracts. The first version is deliberately small and covers the part of your day that hurts most.

Software in use at 3pl and warehouse operators

The local picture

The UAE logistics market was estimated at USD 57.6bn in 2025, with 49.6% of it third-party logistics, so many operators compete on service detail. Clients can get a read-only stock view in English or Arabic. Charges are in AED with VAT lines as your accountant defines. E-invoicing arrives in phases across 2026-2027, and we design billing output to connect with an accredited provider rather than replace one.

Where AI helps, and where it stops

Pick-path suggestions. Given the open dispatch orders, the system proposes a sensible picking sequence through the warehouse. Pickers can follow it or ignore it, and your supervisor stays in charge. AI is an add-on to a sound system, not a replacement for it. Every output is reviewed by your people before it matters, and you can switch the feature off without losing the core system.

How a first version comes together

A first version for a UAE warehouse follows each client's goods from receipt to dispatch, so that billing can be trusted.

  1. We map with your warehouse supervisor, working remotely, how goods are received, put away and released for each client.
  2. We agree a small first scope, usually inward and stock by client and location before any billing is automated.
  3. Dock staff and pickers try it on real movements, and we fix anything that slows them during busy loading windows.
  4. Storage and handling charges in AED, following each client contract, are added next with VAT lines your accountant defines.
  5. A read-only client stock view in English or Arabic and pick-path suggestions come once the stock records hold up.

Questions buyers ask

Is warehouse management software for third-party logistics in the UAE always an enterprise project?
It does not have to be. What we build is deliberately lighter than an enterprise WMS, covering inward, stock, dispatch and billing for operators who need control without a long rollout. It is shaped around your client contracts rather than a generic warehouse model. It can grow later if your client contracts demand more.
Can each client see their own stock?
Yes. Clients can get a read-only stock view in English or Arabic showing what is on hand, so they stop waiting for an emailed sheet. Each client sees only their own goods. This is usually added once your inward and dispatch records are reliable enough to share. Clients can log in from their own offices whenever they need a figure.
Will billing work with e-invoicing?
Charges are in AED with VAT lines as your accountant defines. E-invoicing arrives in phases, and we design billing output to connect with an accredited provider rather than replace one. Your accountant should confirm how and when your business needs to comply, since that is outside the software. Billing rules per pallet, per order or per day stay tied to each contract.
Do pickers have to follow the system's picking sequence?
No. Given the open dispatch orders, the system proposes a sensible picking sequence, and pickers can follow it or ignore it. Your supervisor stays in charge of the floor. The suggestion feature can be switched off without affecting stock, dispatch or billing. It is there to help newer pickers find their way around the racks.
