SOLUTION 26 / 40

Turn the factory floor into data you can act on.

Production dashboards, predictive maintenance, MES integration and secure OT/IT connectivity.

  • 48–72 HOURS
  • TOP 3% ENGINEERS
  • 100% REPLACEMENT
01 · WHAT WE DO

What we do.

  • Real-time production dashboards (OEE, downtime, scrap).

Live views per line, per shift and per machine, with downtime reasons captured at the source and not typed in later.

  • Machine connectivity and data collection from PLCs and sensors.

Read-only connectors using the protocols your equipment already speaks, plus retrofit sensors for older machines.

  • Predictive maintenance and quality analytics.

Anomaly detection on vibration, temperature, current and cycle data, with alerts that maintenance teams can act on, and links from quality defects back to batches.

  • MES/ERP integration.

Work orders, material and production counts moving between the shop floor and business systems without re-keying.

  • OT security: segmentation, monitoring, access control.

Network zones, controlled remote access and monitoring of operational traffic, designed with your plant team.

02 · WHO THIS IS FOR

Who this is for.

  • A plant manager who gets yesterday's numbers on paper and wants this shift's numbers now.

  • A maintenance head tired of breakdowns that arrive without warning.

  • An operations team with a MES or ERP that does not talk to the machines.

  • A quality lead who needs to trace a defect to a batch, a machine and a shift.

  • An IT or security lead being asked to connect the factory and unsure how to do it safely.

03 · HOW WE WORK

How we work.

We start on the floor. We walk the line, talk to operators and maintenance staff, and list the machines, controllers and protocols in use. Then we pick one line and one problem, such as downtime, scrap or changeovers. We prove value there before touching anything else.

We treat the plant as a safety-critical environment. Connectors are read-only unless you agree otherwise. Changes happen in planned windows. Nothing we build can stop a machine.

We build the data path and the people path together. A dashboard no operator trusts is a failed dashboard. We show early versions on the shop floor and change them based on what operators say.

04 · WHAT YOU GET

What you get.

  • A connected pilot line with live data from agreed machines.

  • Dashboards for OEE, downtime and scrap, with shift and line views.

  • An asset and data inventory: machines, controllers, tags, protocols and owners.

  • Anomaly models and an alerting workflow for the machines in scope.

  • Integration with your MES or ERP for the agreed data flows.

  • An IT/OT architecture diagram, network segmentation plan and access rules.

  • Runbooks, source code and training for your plant and IT teams.

05 · TYPICAL TIMELINE

Typical timeline.

Plants vary. Old equipment and strict change windows can stretch the plan, and we say so early.

  1. 01

    Weeks 1 to 2

Site walk, asset inventory, choice of pilot line and measures.

  2. 02

    Weeks 3 to 6

Connectivity and data collection, first dashboard on a test feed, network design review.

  3. 03

    Weeks 7 to 10

Pilot live on the line. Downtime reasons, alerts and operator feedback loops.

  4. 04

    Weeks 11 to 16

Anomaly models, MES/ERP integration, security controls and handover. Extra lines follow in later phases.

PROOF

Proof

For an anonymised manufacturer, sensors, anomaly models and alerts on critical machines flagged 3 likely shutdowns early over 6 months, and unplanned downtime hours fell 40%. Brandsmashers has deployed 150+ developers and about 3% of applicants pass our 4-gate vetting.

FAQ

Questions buyers ask.

Straight answers, before the first call. Ask us something else →

No. Most older machines can be read through their controllers or with clip-on sensors. Replacement is rarely the cheapest route.
