What you’ll do
- Build REST and GraphQL APIs in Node.js and TypeScript
- Model data in PostgreSQL and MongoDB and keep queries fast
- Integrate third-party services such as payments, messaging and CRMs
- Write automated tests and keep services observable with logs and metrics
- Ship through CI/CD pipelines to AWS or GCP
What you’ll bring
- Strong Node.js and TypeScript experience with Express or NestJS
- Good SQL skills and experience designing relational schemas
- Understanding of authentication, authorisation and API security basics
- Experience with queues, caching (Redis) and async processing
- Comfortable with Docker and Git-based workflows
Nice to have
- Microservices or event-driven architecture
- Serverless functions (Lambda, Cloud Functions)
- Experience with WebSockets
